Humane Society

I volunteer at our local humane society and yesterday was asked to take some photos of the available dogs for the shelter's website. I was happy to oblige and make myself useful. :)

Every evening I take my 7 younger siblings to the park. Today I grabbed my camera on our way out and Lucy very excitedly started posing for the camera as soon as she saw I had it. She's such a little model.

I love my baby girl.

She found entertainment in refusing to smile.

 Of course, I talked her into it.

July Homecoming

I just love being a military kid and growing up surrounded by these amazing moments. Sure, the separation is hard. Really hard. But the homecoming...breathtaking.

There's no more stunning a moment than when a deployed daddy meets his baby for the first time.
